FROM 11TH TO THE PODIUM!

Talk about an epic comeback at Road America! After mechanical issues forced Blackhawk Valley Region Steve Sargis to start 11th on the grid, he put on an absolute masterclass in his Triumph Spitfire during the SCCA National Championship Runoffs. By lap three, Steve had sliced through the pack to challenge the leaders, even briefly taking the front spot during a wild, three-wide battle into Turn 1. He crossed the finish line in a thrilling 3rd place, taking home the Sunoco Hard Charger Award for the driver with the most positions improved for the race!
